I am 41 years old and recently had a regular brown discharge between my periods. It took six days. This is the first time that I have this experience. You do not know if it matters, but two years ago, I had breast cancer.

I doubt that breast cancer has nothing to do with it. The hormone that the food brings a case, is a drop in estrogen-progesterone, which has more to do with breasts.
Because of his age and the chemotherapy is very likely that is over, my guess is that either before menopause or just one more chance. It could also be implantation bleeding. Be sure to take a pregnancy test.
